Council adopted a draft policy for dangerous dams in 2006 and reviewed this in 2010 to take account of changes to the Act and the repeal of the Dam Safety Regulations. The purpose of this review is to to bring this policy into the same five yearly cycle applying to the the other policies of the Act.
