Clean, Green Alternatives
Plants need a balanced combination of the following three elements:
- (N) Nitrogen - helps the development of stems and leaves.
- (P) Phosphorus - encourages fruit and flowering, stimulates root development and helps plants withstand drought.
- (K) Potassium - stimulates the production of starch and sugars, as well as general healthy growth.
The combination of these three elements is referred to as the NPK balance of a fertiliser.
