Kids' Edible Gardens
The Kids Edible Gardens programme aims to teach students to re-use organic waste, grow organic edible gardens and also eat the produce they make.
Our programme is supported by the Nelson-Marlborough District Health Board to enable healthy eating and opportunities are created to work in an integrated way with the education programmes that are run by the Council and the NMDHB.
This programme which looks at using the compost from worm farms or EM Bokashi systems to start an organic edible garden for your school. This programme comes with a comprehensive kit. We will also assist schools with facilitation of the programme if it is delivered as a curriculum based programme in schools.
