Landcare Groups

Several community-based restoration initiatives have been driven by local Landcare Groups. These groups are focusing their efforts on the restoration of various natural areas around Marlborough. Most groups include local residents and school pupils and are helped by other agencies such as the NZ Landcare Trust, the Marlborough District Council and the Department of Conservation.
