• How do I dispose of a dead animal?

  Put in a plastic bag and take to a transfer station.  Will be charged at the general refuse rate of $26 per cubic metre unless in an official Council bag.

• How do I dispose of toxic waste?

  Domestic quantities can be taken to Blenheim, Picton, Havelock, Wairau Valley, Seddon or Rai Valley transfer stations.

• What do I do with my rubbish when I have been out boating in the Marlborough Sounds?

  Port Marlborough provides rubbish facilities for boaties at Picton and Havelock marinas. Alternatively, you can take your rubbish to any transfer station.
