We encourage you to consider and identify any Building, Site, Place or Tree that you believe holds significance for its historic heritage and for which you would like to see protected from inappropriate development.
All Heritage Resources are assessed against historic heritage criteria which are listed on the Heritage Buildings, Site, Places or Trees page.
If you know of any Historic Heritage places in Marlborough that you think should be evaluated for future scheduling in the Resource Management Plans, please use the Nomination form to let us know.

The form can be filled in online for printing. Once the form is filled in, print it, sign it, attach any photos and send it to the address below.

Please ensure that any information you provide, is as comprehensive and as detailed as possible.
While the completion of this form does not guarantee the registration and preservation of the heritage feature identified. It does ensure that the nominated feature will be considered for its appropriateness for further research and consultation, which may lead to its inclusion in the Plans' historic heritage register.
