Fundview and Breakout
If you would like information on general funding, the Fundview and Breakout databases can be viewed at the Marlborough District Library in Blenheim, the Picton Library, or the Awatere Community Centre. Fundview and Breakout information is supplied by the Funding Information database.
To access the databases, ask at reception. If you need a printout, or require help with your search, ask reception staff. Information from these databases is also available online from the Library Funding Bodies Page, using your library card number.
Fundview
If you are a community group looking for funding for projects and activities then Fundview could assist you. Fundview details over 500 sources of funding available to community groups.
These include local bodies, philanthropic trusts, and an assortment of government agencies, such as the Lottery Grants Board.
The search facility allows you to select information about funding organisations using criteria chosen by you.
Breakout
If you are an individual needing money (for educational purposes, for example) then Breakout may assist you. Breakout is a database of awards, scholarships, and grants.
It is useful for secondary schools, universities and polytechnics as well as for individuals. About 80 percent of the types of funding cited are for tertiary study.
The remaining schemes are targeted at activities such as travel, sports, and arts. Funding contributions come from universities, professional institutions, government agencies, diplomatic embassies, and philanthropic trusts.
Viewing Online
