Marlborough District Council has a road safety role in Marlborough and delivers a series of road safety programmes and education activities in partnership with the community. These are designed to improve the awareness of road safety and sustainable transport.
The programmes are a mix of education material, road safety training (ie; for cyclists, motorcyclists, young/older drivers, etc...) and campaigns to increase public awareness of safe road travel.
Interesting and Useful Information
The ACC has produced a safe driving map for the top of the South Island that highlights road crash high risk areas. Copies of the map are available at the Marlborough District Council.
