Anakiwa
Anakiwa is an enclosed bay situated at the western end of the Queen Charlotte Sound. It has an average yearly rainfall of 1,500 mm and is used in all seasons for swimming, water sports and boating. It has a sand and stone beach, and is surrounded by housing that lies in front of bush-covered hills.
