Rai at Brown River Reserve
Situated just north of Rai Valley, this site is a popular picnic area in summer. It has a grassy area on one side of the river and trees and farmland on the other.
The average yearly rainfall in the area is 2,200mm. The Brown River catchment area is subject to high intensity agricultural use and dairying. Water quality is also affected by rainfall.
