Wairau at Blenheim Rowing Club
This site at the Blenheim Rowing Club has a sloping grassy bank on one side and willow trees and paddocks on the other. Amenities include a boat launching ramp and the rowing club building.
The site is very popular with fisherman, boaties, water sports enthusiasts and rowers. It is situated about 15 minutes' drive from Blenheim and is used as a freshwater recreational site both in summer and winter.
Stock access to water may result in poor water quality at times. Rain events also affect water quality. The average yearly rainfall is 650mm.
