Wairau at Ferry Bridge
The Wairau River at the Ferry Road bridge in Spring Creek is a popular swimming site. There is a small sandy beach and a parking and picnic area.
The banks are tree-lined with mainly willows. The average yearly rainfall for the area is 700mm. Water quality is affected by rainfall.
