The Pound  (Animal Shelter)

Animal Control ensures that all impounded animals have good quality housing and food whilst in their care.  All impounded dogs and other smaller animals are kept in the Marlborough District Council Pound. 

Depending on the location where they are found, larger animals may be transported to the Marlborough Saleyards; alternatively a temporary pound may be created elsewhere.
