Methods of Registering Your Dog(s)
There are a number of ways that you can register your dog(s) as outlined below:
Post
Post the completed dog registration form to Animal Control with your payment enclosed. When registering your dog by post it may take up to 28 days for your registration tag to arrive.
Direct Payment
Make a direct payment to the dog control account (02-0600-0202861-06). Please also ensure you return the completed dog registration form to Animal Control.
It is very important that you quote the person ID (on top of your registration form - note: this will only be on registration forms that were posted to you from Animal Control) and the surname of the registered dog owner in the reference section when making the payment.
When registering your dog by direct payment it may take up to 28 days for your registration tag to arrive.
In Person
Visit Animal Control at 82 Seymour Street, Blenheim or at Council's Picton offices in High Street, Picton.
The registration period (July) is very busy for Animal Control and there may be queues at the Animal Control office, particularly during the lunch period and around 3.00 pm and at all times during the last few days of registration (late July).
During the registration period, there will be a fast registration box for completed dog registration forms with the correct money at the Animal Control Office.
