CDEM Group Plan 2011-2016
The Marlborough Civil Defence Emergency Management Group ratified the CDEM Group Plan 2011-16 in November 2011. The Plan details the structure and organisation of civil defence management in the region and sets out the goals and objectives for the five year period and beyond. The Plan was developed after extensive consultation with local experts on natural hazards,emergency services, the Ministry of Civil Defence and the general public.
The strategic goals and objectives create the framework for planning improvements to the future of emergency management and the development of programmes and individual tasks The Plan also identifies the mechanisms for monitoring and evaluation of the Plan and the processes for ensuring the desired outcomes are progressed.
