Recycling At The Transfer Stations

Blenheim Transfer Station

For comprehensive recycling in Blenheim please visit the Resource Recovery Centre.

At the transfer station there is also facility to recycle:

  • waste oil
  • scrap steel
  • whiteware

Waste oil is collected by Benzoil and then reused as a low grade fuel oil.

Scrap steel is taken to an approved scrap yard.

Whiteware such as fridges and freezers will be degassed and then taken to an approved scarp yard.
