Reserve Road, Seddon - Sunday 28 August 2016

Marlborough Car Club Gravel Hill Climb

Pursuant to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, notice is given that Reserve Road, Seddon from RP 1.4 km from intersection with Seaview Road, to RP 0.87 km from the intersection with Cable Station Road, is proposed to be closed to all vehicular traffic on Sunday 28 August 2016 from 8.00 am to 5.30 pm for the purpose the Marlborough Car Club gravel hill climb.

During the proposed period of closure, ordinary vehicular traffic may use the road being closed between events under the supervision and authority of an officer of the New Zealand Police (Traffic Safety Branch).

It will be an offence under the above regulations for any person other than under the authority of an authorised permit to use the road for ordinary vehicular traffic during the period of closure.

Persons wishing to object to the proposal are to lodge their objection and grounds thereof in writing before Friday 29 July 2016, at the office of Marlborough Roads, The Forum, Market Street, Blenheim, PO Box 1031, Blenheim, 7240.

Bristol Street, Manchester Street and Vernon Close, Riverlands Industrial Estate - Sunday 11 September 2016

Car Racing

Pursuant to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, notice is given that the following streets in the Riverlands Industrial Estate:

  • Bristol Street
  • Manchester Street
  • Vernon Close

are proposed to be closed to ordinary vehicular traffic on Sunday 11 September 2016 from 7.00 am to 6.00 pm for the purposes of motor car racing.

During the proposed period of closure, ordinary vehicular traffic may use the road being closed between events under the supervision and authority of an officer of the New Zealand Police (Traffic Safety Branch).

It will be an offence under the above regulations for any person other than under the authority of an authorised permit to use the road for ordinary vehicular traffic during the period of closure.
