Sunday 8 March 2015 - Tuamarina Road

Marlborough Car Club sealed sprint

Pursuant to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, notice is given that Tuamarina Road 1.5 km from intersection with Bush Road to the intersection with Waikakaho Valley Road will be closed to all vehicular traffic on Sunday 8 March 2015 from 8.00 am to 5.30 pm for the purpose of the Marlborough Car Club sealed sprint.

During the period of closure, ordinary vehicular traffic may use the road being closed between events under the supervision and authority of an officer of the New Zealand Police (Traffic Safety Branch).

It will be an offence under the above regulations for any person other than under the authority of an authorised permit to use the road for ordinary vehicular traffic during the period of closure.

Thursday 2 April 2015 - Market Street from Wynen Street to Main Street, Blenheim

Marlborough Artisan Easter Market

Pursuant to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, notice is given that on Thursday 2 April 2015 from 4.00 pm to 7.00 pm, that Market Street from Wynen Street to Main Street, Blenheim, is proposed to be closed to ordinary vehicle traffic for the purpose of the Marlborough Artisan Easter Market.

Side intersections to Market Street off Charles, and Arthur Street will also be affected.

There will be free parking in the Wynen Street carpark from 12.00 noon.

It will be an offence under the above regulations for any person other than under the authority of an authorised permit to use the road for ordinary vehicular traffic during the period of closure.

During the proposed period of closure, ordinary vehicular traffic may use the road being closed between events under the supervision and authority of an officer of the New Zealand Police (Traffic Safety Branch).

Persons wishing to object to the proposal are to lodge their objection and grounds thereof in writing before 19 March 2015 at the office of Marlborough Roads, The Forum, Market Street, Blenheim, P O Box 1031, Blenheim 7240.

Sunday 19 April 2015 - Pukaka Valley Road

Pursuant to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, notice is given that Pukaka Valley Road from the Pembers Road intersection to the end of Council road is proposed to be closed to all vehicular traffic on Sunday 19 April 2015 from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm for the purpose of the Marlborough Car Club car racing.

During the proposed period of closure, ordinary vehicular traffic may use the road being closed between events under the supervision and authority of an officer of the New Zealand Police (Traffic Safety Branch).

It will be an offence under the above regulations for any person other than under the authority of an authorised permit to use the road for ordinary vehicular traffic during the period of closure.

Saturday 25 April 2015 - High Street, Renwick

Anzac Day Commemoration Service

Pursuant to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, notice is given that High Street from Inkerman Street to Alma Street Renwick, are proposed to be closed on Saturday 25 April 2015 from 8.40 am to 9.40 am for the purpose of the Anzac Day Commemoration Service.

An alternative signposted detour route will be available via Inkerman, Havelock and Alma Streets during the closure.

Strictly No Parking in High Street from Inkerman to Alma Streets from 5.00 am to 9.40 am.

During the proposed period of closure, ordinary vehicular traffic may use the road being closed between events under the supervision and authority of an officer of the New Zealand Police (Traffic Safety Branch).
