Deconsecration Service, St Andrew's Church, Seddon - Sunday 27 July 2014

Notice is hereby given under section 342 of the Local Government Act 1974 that Richmond Street, Seddon, between Weld Street and Duncan Street will be closed to all vehicular traffic on Sunday 27 July 2014 from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm for the purpose of ensuring the safety of those attending the service to deconsecrate St Andrew’s Church.

The Fire Brigade exit onto Richmond and/or Duncan Street will remain clear.

It will be an offence under the above regulations for any person other than under the authority of an authorised permit to use the road for ordinary vehicular traffic during the period of closure.

Marlborough Malaya Veterans Commemoration Service - Thursday 31 July 2014

Notice is hereby given under Section 342 of the Local Government Act 1974 that Seymour Street from the intersection of High Street to Alfred Street will be closed to all vehicles between the hours of 10.30 am and 12.15 pm on Thursday, 31 July 2014, for the purpose of the Marlborough Malaya Veterans Commemoration Service.

Also please note that there will be no parking in Seymour Street from the intersection of High Street to Alfred Street from 8.00 am to 12.15 pm.

Riverlands Industrial Estate - Sunday 28 September 2014

Motor Car Racing

Pursuant to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, notice is given that the following streets in the Riverlands industrial Estate

  • Bristol Street
  • Manchester Street
  • Vernon Close

are proposed to be closed to ordinary vehicular traffic on Sunday 28 September 2014 from 7.00 am to 6.00 pm for the purposes of motor car racing.

It will be an offence under the above regulations for any person other than under the authority of an authorised permit to use the road for ordinary vehicular traffic during the period of closure.

Persons wishing to object to the proposal are to lodge their objection and grounds thereof in writing before 27 August 2014 at the office of Marlborough Roads, The Forum, Market Street, Blenheim, PO Box 1031, Blenheim 7240.

Riley Crescent - 11 October 2014

St Ninian's Presbyterian Church Spring Festival 2014

Pursuant to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, notice is given that Riley Crescent from the intersection of Alabama Road to the intersection of Rudd Crescent Blenheim, is proposed to be closed to all vehicular traffic on Saturday 1 October 2014 from 7.30 am to 3.00 pm for the purpose of a spring festival.

For residents living in the Rudd and Riley Crescent vicinity alternative access can be gained via Manson Street.

During the proposed period of closure, ordinary vehicular traffic may use the road being closed between events under the supervision and authority of an officer of the New Zealand Police (Traffic Safety Branch).

It will be an offence under the above regulations for any person other than under the authority of an authorised permit to use the road for ordinary vehicular traffic during the period of closure.

Persons wishing to object to the proposal are to lodge their objection and grounds thereof in writing before Monday 15 September 2014, at the office of Marlborough Roads, The Forum, Market Street, Blenheim, PO Box 1031, Blenheim, 7240.

Aston Street, Blenheim - 18 October 2014

Springlands School Gala

Pursuant to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, notice is given that Aston Street, Blenheim, is proposed to be closed to all vehicular traffic on Saturday 18 September 2014 from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm for the purpose of the Springlands School Gala.

During the proposed period of closure, ordinary vehicular traffic may use the road being closed between events under the supervision and authority of an officer of the New Zealand Police (Traffic Safety Branch).

It will be an offence under the above regulations for any person other than under the authority of an authorised permit to use the road for ordinary vehicular traffic during the period of closure.

Persons wishing to object to the proposal are to lodge their objection and grounds thereof in writing before Monday 22 September 2014, at the office of Marlborough Roads, The Forum, Market Street, Blenheim, PO Box 1031, Blenheim, 7240.
