Sunday 30 August 2015 - Reserve Road, Seddon

Marlborough Car Club Racing

Pursuant to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, notice is given that Reserve Road, Seddon from RP 1.4 km from intersection with Seaview Road, to RP 0.87 km from the intersection with Cable Station Road, will be closed to all vehicular traffic on Sunday 30 August 2015 from 8.00 am to 5.30 pm for the purpose of the Marlborough Car Club racing.

During the period of closure, ordinary vehicular traffic may use the road being closed between events under the supervision and authority of an officer of the New Zealand Police (Traffic Safety Branch).

It will be an offence under the above regulations for any person other than under the authority of an authorised permit to use the road for ordinary vehicular traffic during the period of closure.

Motor Car Racing

Pursuant to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, notice is given that the following streets in the Riverlands Industrial Estate:
  • Bristol Street
  • Manchester Street
  • Vernon Close
will be closed to ordinary vehicular traffic on Sunday 13 September 2015 from 7.00 am to 6.00 pm for the purposes of motor car racing.


Saturday 17 October 2015 - Aston Street, Blenheim

Springlands School Gala

Pursuant to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, notice is given that Aston Street, Blenheim, is proposed to be closed to all vehicular traffic on Saturday 17 October 2015 from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm for the purpose of the Springlands School Gala.

During the proposed period of closure, ordinary vehicular traffic may use the road being closed between events under the supervision and authority of an officer of the New Zealand Police (Traffic Safety Branch).

It will be an offence under the above regulations for any person other than under the authority of an authorised permit to use the road for ordinary vehicular traffic during the period of closure.

Persons wishing to object to the proposal are to lodge their objection and grounds thereof in writing before 19 September 2015, at the office of Marlborough Roads, The Forum, Market Street, Blenheim, PO Box 1031, Blenheim 7240.

Marlborough car Club Annual Tuamarina Track Gravel Sprint

Pursuant to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, notice is given that Kaituna-Tuamarina Road (western end) 4.6 km from intersection with SH 6 to Waikakaho Valley intersection is proposed to be closed to all vehicular traffic on Sunday 18 October 2015 from 8.00 am to 5.30 pm for the purpose of the Marlborough Car Club Annual Tuamarina Track Gravel Sprint.

During the proposed period of closure, ordinary vehicular traffic may use the road being closed between events under the supervision and authority of an officer of the New Zealand Police (Traffic Safety Branch).

It will be an offence under the above regulations for any person other than under the authority of an authorised permit to use the road for ordinary vehicular traffic during the period of closure.

Spring Festival

Pursuant to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, notice is given that Riley Crescent from the intersection of Alabama Road to the intersection of Rudd Crescent Blenheim, is proposed to be closed to all vehicular traffic on Saturday 10 October 2015 from 7.30 am to 1.30 pm for the purpose of a spring festival.

For residents living in the Rudd and Riley Crescent vicinity alternative access can be gained via Manson Street.

During the proposed period of closure, ordinary vehicular traffic may use the road being closed between events under the supervision and authority of an officer of the New Zealand Police (Traffic Safety Branch).

Persons wishing to object to the proposal are to lodge their objection and grounds thereof in writing before Monday 12 September 2015, at the office of Marlborough Roads, The Forum, Market Street, Blenheim, PO Box 1031, Blenheim, 7240.

Nelmac Garden Marlborough Fête

Pursuant to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, notice is given that the following roads are proposed to be closed to all vehicular traffic on Sunday 8 November 2015 from 6.15 am to 5.15 pm for the purpose of the Nelmac Garden Marlborough Fête.
  • High Street between Seymour and Henry Street
  • Seymour Street and Henry Street between Alfred Street and High Street
  • Alfred Street between Henry Street and Seymour Street
  • No Stopping east side of Andrew Street between High Street and Alfred Street.

During the proposed period of closure, ordinary vehicular traffic may use the road being closed between events under the supervision and authority of an officer of the New Zealand Police (Traffic Safety Branch).

It will be an offence under the above regulations for any person other than under the authority of an authorised permit to use the road for ordinary vehicular traffic during the period of closure.

Marlborough Car Club Sprint

Pursuant to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, notice is given that Taylor Pass Road 10.65 km from the Maxwell Road intersection to a point RP 20.85, which is 1.1 km from the Awatere Valley Road intersection, is proposed to be closed to all vehicular traffic on Saturday 14 November 2015 from 8.00 am to 5.30 pm for the purpose of the Marlborough Car Club Annual sprint.

During the proposed period of closure, ordinary vehicular traffic may use the road being closed between events under the supervision and authority of an officer of the New Zealand Police (Traffic Safety Branch).

It will be an offence under the above regulations for any person other than under the authority of an authorised permit to use the road for ordinary vehicular traffic during the period of closure.

Persons wishing to object to the proposal are to lodge their objection and grounds thereof in writing before 22 October 2015 at the office of Marlborough Roads, The Forum, Market Street, Blenheim, PO Box 1031, Blenheim 7240.
