Friday 17 April 2015 - Northbound lane on western side of Queen Street between Charles and Arthur Streets, Blenheim

Notice is hereby given under Section 342 of the Local Government Act 1974 that the northbound lane on the western side of Queen Street between Charles and Arthur Street will be closed on Friday, 17 April 2015 from 7.00 am to 11.00 am, for the purpose of opening the Health Facility, at 22 Queen Street.

There will be no parking on the western side of Queen Street for the duration of this event.

Sunday 19 April 2015 - Pukaka Valley Road

Marlborough Car Club Racing

Pursuant to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, notice is given that Pukaka Valley Road from the Pembers Road intersection to the end of Council road will be closed to all vehicular traffic on Sunday 19 April 2015 from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm for the purpose of the Marlborough Car Club car racing.

During the period of closure, ordinary vehicular traffic may use the road being closed between events under the supervision and authority of an officer of the New Zealand Police (Traffic Safety Branch).

It will be an offence under the above regulations for any person other than under the authority of an authorised permit to use the road for ordinary vehicular traffic during the period of closure.

Friday 24 April 2015 - Ward Street from State Highway 1 to Tachalls Road, Ward

Anzac Commemoration Service at Ward

Notice is hereby given under Section 342 of the Local Government Act 1974 that Ward Street from State Highway 1 to Tachalls Road will be closed to all vehicles between the hours of 1.15 pm and 3.00 pm on Friday, 24 April 2015 for the purpose of the Ward Anzac Commemoration Service.

Also please note that there will be no parking in Ward Street from State Highway 1 to Tachalls Road from 12 noon to 3.00 pm.

Free parking will be available in the Ward Showgrounds via the Tachalls Road entrance.

100 Days for 100 Years’ Service

Notice is hereby given under Section 342 of the Local Government Act 1974 that Seymour Street from the intersection of High Street to Alfred Street will be closed to all vehicles between the hours of 5.30 pm and 6.30 pm on Friday, 24 April 2015 for the purpose of 100 Days for 100 Years’ Service.

Also please note that there will be no parking in Seymour Street from the intersection of High Street to Alfred Street from 5.00 pm to 6.30 pm.

Saturday 25 April 2015 - High Street, Renwick

Anzac Day Commemoration Service

Pursuant to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, notice is given that High Street from Inkerman Street to Alma Street Renwick, will be closed on Saturday 25 April 2015 from 8.40 am to 9.40 am for the purpose of the Anzac Day Commemoration Service.

An alternative signposted detour route will be available via Inkerman, Havelock and Alma Streets during the closure.

Strictly No Parking in High Street from Inkerman to Alma Streets from 5.00 am to 9.40 am.

Hutcheson Streetfrom Alfred Street to John Street
Russell Terracefrom Alfred Street

Notice is also hereby given that parking will be prohibited and cars will be removed from 6.00 am to midday in the following areas:

Arthur Streetfrom Queen Street to Seymour Street
Seymour Streetfrom Arthur Street to John Street
High Streetfrom Henry Street to Queen Street
Alfred Streetfrom Henry Street to Market Street including Russell Terrace

Picton

From 4.15 am to 8.00 am

London Quayfrom Auckland Street to Wellington Street and
High Streetfrom London Quay to the intersection of Dublin Street/Waikawa Road/High Street

Notice is also hereby given that parking will be prohibited and cars will be removed from 5.00 pm on Friday 24 April to 8.00 am on Saturday 25 April in the following areas:

London Quayfrom Auckland Street to Wellington Street and
High Streetfrom outside properties at 1–10 High Street

Note: Free parking will be available in Blenheim at the Alfred Street parking building. The barrier arms will not be in use they will be left open on Anzac Day only. Limited parking will be available on Henry Street and John Street and also the Blenheim School grounds.

The wet weather venue for the Blenheim United Memorial Service will be the Marlborough Lines Stadium 2000 in Kinross Street.
