Marlborough District Libraries

The Marlborough District Council operates two main libraries - the Marlborough District Library in Blenheim and the Picton Branch Library, which is part of the Council's Picton Service Centre. It also supports a network of seven school/community and community libraries run by volunteers. These libraries are based at local schools and community halls.

Library membership is free to all Marlborough residents. In 2004/2005 more than 606,000 items were borrowed from the libraries.
