Payments | Rebates | Valuations | Rate Records | Remission & Postponement Policies

Rates can be paid in a variety of ways:

Direct Debit

You can pay each week, fortnight, month or quarterly using the Direct Debit system operated by your bank.  Council will confirm the amount and date of your payments.  The advantages of this option are that ratepayers never need to change the payment amount with their bank (we will do that for you), rates are always paid prior to the penalty date, and payment details are recorded on your bank statement.  Direct Debit application forms are available from any council office.  Below is the link to the Direct Debit form.

Telephone Banking

If you wish to use telephone banking, which is available 24 hours a day, ask your bank to set up the system for you. The bank will need your rate account number.

Internet Banking

If you wish to use internet banking, which is available 24 hours a day, ask your bank for any necessary assistance.  The bank will need your rate account number.

Payment By Post

Post your cheque to the council in the reply-paid envelope.

Automatic Payment/Direct Credit

Payments can be made either weekly, fortnightly or monthly to suit your budget but, unlike direct debit and telephone banking, you need to change automatic payment amounts if circumstances change. Below is the link to the automatic payment form.
