The Marlborough Regional Policy Statement provides an overview of Marlborough's significant resource management issues - issues about use and development of natural and physical resources - water, air, land, the coast, and the built environment; and it contains objectives, policies and methods to achieve integrated management of these resources. It was made operative on 28 August 1995.
