Residential Advisory Service (RAS)

If you are having difficulty understanding or interpreting your insurance policy or the insurance process, the Residential Advisory Service (RAS) is available to help with a free, independent, and easy to use service.

RAS engages independent advisors who are practicing lawyers or solicitors with experience and understanding of insurance matters following a natural disaster.

RAS began supporting home owners impacted by the Canterbury Earthquake sequence and has since been involved in responding to the Kaikoura event the Ohau fires, Edgecumbe and Napier floods.

RAS can help you better understand what is going on with your own repair or rebuild and is focused on progressing the issues between home owners and insurance companies.
