Customer Service Centres
Marlborough District Council operates Customer Service Centres in Blenheim and Picton to handle all counter and telephone enquiries.
Customer Service Centres are staffed from 8.00 am-5.00 pm Monday to Friday in Blenheim; and 8.00 am-5.00 pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 9.00 am-5.00 pm Wednesday in Picton. Outside these hours the main Council phone number is staffed 24 hours a day to handle urgent issues such as noise control.
A duty building officer is available by appointment only at Council's Blenheim office for enquiries related to building consent requirements. 15 minute appointments are available between 1.00 pm and 2.45 pm and 3.30 pm and 4.30 pm. Please ask one of our customer service team to arrange an appointment time. You will also need to complete the duty builder enquiry form. This will give the officer the details needed to research and respond to your question.
A duty planner is available by appointment only at Council's Blenheim office to discuss your resource consent enquiries. Please contact Customer Services to make an appointment.
There is now also a duty planner service in Picton. The service is available fortnightly on Tuesdays at the Picton Library. Please contact Customer Services to make an appointment.

Mayor and Councillors
Marlborough District Council's elected Mayor and councillors can be contacted directly. Their contact details are in the Councillors section under Your Council.
Maataa Waka Enterprises undertakes Animal Control functions, including dog registration. Payments can be made at their offices at 56 Main Street.
If you wish to make a complaint about a dog nuisance, report a problem dog or you have found or lost a dog, please call Animal Control.
Remember, some dog owners may not be aware that their dog is creating a problem. Before making a complaint you may wish to read the dog behaviour information on our Dog Education page.
