  • How to Nominate a Heritage Building, Site, Place or Tree

    Consider and identify any Building, Site, Place or Tree that you believe holds significance for its historic heritage and for which you would like to see protected from inappropriate development.

  • Nomination Form

    The form can be filled in online for printing. Once the form is filled in, print it, sign it, attach any photos and send it to the address below.

  • Register of Significant Heritage Resources

    Council maintains a register of significant heritage resources, which are recorded in Volume 2, Appendix A of the Marlborough Sounds and the Wairau/Awatere Resource Management Plans.
