The purpose of the scheme is to support and encourage local communities to create and present diverse opportunities for accessing and participating in arts activities within their specific geographical area, as well as for defined communities of interest.
Round 2 for the 2025-26 financial year has been processed. Round 1 for the 2026-27 financial year grant dates are below.
A further grant round will be available early in 2027.

All applications must meet the Creative New Zealand criteria outlined in the Application Guide below. From September 2025 onwards, applications must also align with the pathways set out in Council’s Te Atatū Arts, Culture & Creativity Strategy 2024–2034, available at the link below.
