Marlborough Roads' crews continue working across the network clearing debris, repairing roads and restoring access as it is safe to do so.

French Pass Village closure
Roads
From Monday 20 July closures will resume until mid-September as part of the Marlborough Roads Recovery Project, construction closures are planned on Croisilles-French Pass Road at French Pass Village.

Lawrence Road, Kenepuru Sound - Road Closure
Roads
Construction closures on Lawrence Road, Kenepuru Sounds will resume from Monday 20 July to complete drainage improvements and pavement construction, as part of the Marlborough Roads Recovery Project.

Anakiwa Road Closure
Roads
As part of the Marlborough Roads Recovery Project, construction closures are in place on Anakiwa Road, approximately 3km from the start of the road from property 289 to 319 Anakiwa Road.

Market Street Road Closure - Stage 1b
Roads
Market Street will be closed to all vehicles between Arthur Street and Wynen Street from Monday 13 July to September as part of the Market Street Revamp project.

Stop/go on SH6 at Tancred Cres roundabout
Roads
Night time stop/go traffic management will be in place at the SH6 Tancred Cres roundabout (outside Marlborough Airport) for the installation of a sculpture.

Awatere Valley Road Closure – AV3 from Jordan Bridge
Roads
Due to the Red Weather Warning in place, Awatere Valley Road will close at 4pm today at the Jordan Bridge through to Limestone (AV3).

Tennyson Inlet Road Closure & vehicle size restrictions

Construction closures are in place approximately 1.2km from the start of Tennyson Inlet Road, to just before the Opouri Saddle as part of the Marlborough Roads Recovery Project until Friday 24 July.

Keeping school children safe - New school speed signs on SH6
Roads
If you are dropping off or collecting your child from schools in the top of the South Island, do not be surprised if you see new speed limit signs being installed over the coming weeks.

Taylors Pass Road closure
Roads
Taylors Pass Road between 1353 Taylor Pass Road and 1739 Taylor Pass Road will be closed on an intermittent basis for earthworks and harvesting from 18 November 2024 from 6.00 am - 5.00 pm.
