Kenepuru Road, from the Onahau Road intersection will now be open to residents, essential and emergency service till 12.30 pm Monday 7 October.
The planned construction closure on this section of Kenepuru Road will resume on Monday 7 October from 12.30 pm. The closures will resume as scheduled from 12.30 pm till 5.00 pm on Monday.
The closure will be in place from 8.00 am to 12.00 pm and 12.30 pm to 5.00 pm Monday to Thursday. On Friday the closures will be in place from 8.00 am to 12.00 pm and 12.30 pm to 3.30 pm.

From 23 September, Kenepuru Road from the Onahau Road intersection will be closed from 8.00 am to 12.00 pm and 12.30 pm to 5.00 pm Monday to Thursday. On Fridays the closures will be in place from 8.00 am to 12.00 pm and 12.30 pm to 3.30 pm.
This section of Kenepuru Road, between Onahau Road and the Heads remains restricted to residents, essential and emergency services. For resident access, the location of the closure will be between property 2067 Kenepuru Road, for 300m towards Portage.
The closures are in place for the construction of a 98m retaining wall at the Water Tank slip site, along with drainage upgrades and road reinstatement. The road closure timings will be reviewed after the first stage of works are completed. Works will be undertaken outside of these days and times under stop/go traffic management with up to 15 minute delays.
