Important note before adding a dog through Online Dog Services
This service is for existing dog owners who have already registered their dog or dogs in Marlborough. Before you can use online dog services for the first time, you must enter your owner number and registered dog number into your online profile. Failure to take this step means an incomplete registration.

Online dog services allows dog owners to:
- Register a new dog
- Change dog details
- Advise if a dog has died
- Request a replacement dog tag

To access online dog services:
- You must be the registered owner of your dog(s)
- You will need to create an online login. Details required are first name, last name and email address. These details will be used to communicate with you about any changes or payments you submit via online dog services.
- Once you have created your login, to view your dog details you will need to enter your 'name number' and the 'dog number' (not tag number) of one of your current dogs - this information is on your registration form
- If you are entering microchipping or neutering details, you will need a copy of the relevant certificate(s) that you can scan and upload

Who can use online dog services?
Online dog services is available to all current dog owners in Marlborough. If you are registering a dog for the first time (in Marlborough) Animal Control will need to confirm that you are set up in Council's system before you can access this service. In order to do this, you will need to complete the registration form and send or bring this in to Animal Control. Once your dog registration application has been processed and your dog number has been allocated, you will be able to access your dog details via online dog services.

Making a payment
If all details on your registration form are correct and you want to make a credit card payment:
- Choose 'dog registration payment' under the 'payment' list on the online services page and then enter your 'name number'.
- Alternatively, create a login to view your dog details, then choose the payment button, however; if you are making changes, these will need to be processed to reflect your new registration fee. Animal Control will send you a notification email when processing is complete.
