Online Dog Services FAQs

  • If you don’t currently have dogs, Animal Control will need to confirm that you are set up in Council's system before you can access online dog services. In order to do this, you will need to complete the registration form and send or bring this in to Animal Control. Once your dog registration application has been processed and your dog number has been allocated, you will be able to access your dog details via online dog services.

  • To use the service, you will need to be a current dog owner. Use the link below to find out more about creating an account and accessing your information.

  • Go to the online services page and choose the 'login' option. Choose the 'forgot password' option.

  • Go to the online services page, log into your account, choose 'my profile' and update your details.

  • Yes, just choose the save for later option. When you log back in, choose the 'draft applications' option.

  • Any changes you have made will show in your account once processed by Animal Control. You will receive a notification email once processing is complete.

  • The dogs will only show in the online dog services account of the registered owner. If you now own the dogs, find out how to notify Animal Control of the transfer of dog ownership.

  • Any changes you have made will show in your account once processed by Animal Control. You will receive a notification email once processing is complete.

  • Please contact Council or Animal Control during office hours and we will check this for you.

  • Yes, you can pay directly from the online services screen. Instead of selecting login options, choose the "Dog Registration Payment" option. You will need your name number from your invoice.

  • Yes, you can pay invoices directly from the online services page. Instead of selecting login options, choose the 'dog registration payment' option. You will need the other person's name number from their invoice.

  • If you have received a receipt by email then your credit card payment has been made; the next step is that your credit card payment will be processed by Animal Control. If you have any doubts give Council or Animal Control a call during office hours and we can check for you, on phone: 03 520 7400.
