Background to 2020 Responsible Camping Bylaw
The Marlborough District Council Freedom Camping Control Bylaw 2012 was reviewed in 2020. The review process resulted in a number of changes to how responsible camping may occur on Council land. Fewer sites are available for camping and all camping must take place within self-contained vehicles.
