From this Monday, the walking path on the southern side of the Taylor River reserve will be closed for up to a month during daylight hours to allow for the reconstruction of a section of stopbank. The path on the northern side of the river will remain open at all times.
Park users should follow the signs.
Council has purchased land from the owner of 220 High Street, which will provide an additional 1,000 sq. m. to the reserve. The work will include the removal of the old boundary fence and provide an overall improvement for users of the reserve.
The work is expected to take up to a month to complete.
