Work is underway to improve the Taylor River pathway between the Monro Street and Beaver Road footbridges.
Improvements include widening the path to three metres, realigning rail crossings to 90 degrees, and grading to create a gentle slope from path to grass.
Please keep out of the construction areas and use alternative routes, which are signposted. In most cases it’s possible to use the pathway on the other side of the river or you can go around the construction area on the grass. Dog owners are asked to use a lead around construction areas, to keep themselves and their pets safe.
The work is expected to be completed by mid-July.
