Proposed Temporary Road Closure – Marlborough Car Club Rally sprint

On Sunday 28 February 2021the following roads are to be closed to ordinary vehicle traffic for the Marlborough Car Club Rally sprint between 7.30am and 5.00pm.

The streets involved are:

  • Kaituna - Tuamarina Road – 1.5 km (1500m past Kaituna-Tuamarina/Bush Road Intersection) to 5.6 km (Kaituna-Tuamarina/ Waikakaho Valley Rd Intersection)

During the proposed period of closure, ordinary vehicular traffic may use the road being closed between events under the supervision and authority of an Officer of the New Zealand Police (Traffic Safety Branch).

It will be an offence under the above regulations for any person other than under the authority of an authorised permit to use the road for ordinary vehicular traffic during the period of closure.

This notice is given under the Transport (vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965.

Persons wishing to object to the proposal are to lodge their objection and grounds in writing before 11 February 2021 at the office of Marlborough Roads, The Forum, Market Street, Blenheim, PO Box 1031, Blenheim, 7240.
