Fund Objectives
To help with economic growth and restoring activity in Marlborough lost due to the impact of COVID-19. The fund has mostly been allocated but a small amount of funding remains. A strong focus has now been placed to address the most significant remaining COVID-19 related issues in Marlborough:
- Supporting tourism activity in Picton and the Sounds
- Labour and skills support, particularly for people under 30 or over 50
- Alternative event offerings should major events be cancelled
