Kenepuru Road Closure at Portage Heights

As part of the Marlborough Roads Recovery Project, construction closures will be in place at Portage Heights.
From Monday 28 April Kenepuru Road will be closed between from Portage Resort for 1km towards the Heads.
Under the construction closures a retaining wall, culvert installation other drainage improvements and pavement reinstatement will be undertaken.
The closures will be in place from Monday 28 April on weekdays between 8.00 am to 12.00 pm and 12.30 pm to 5.00 pm, following the fortnightly closure schedule as below. Timings will be notified in the weekly Recovery Newsletter for the following fortnight.

Emergency services will always be accommodated.
Work will be undertaken outside of these days and times, including on Saturdays under stop/go traffic management with up to 15-minute delays.
