Due to the high volume of enquiries that Council now receives, the Duty Building Control Officer (duty builder) is no longer available for customers at the front counter; this will allow the Duty Building Control Officer to reply to enquiries quicker and also will ensure better research and a more accurate reply.

If you phone or visit Council with a duty building enquiry our customer service team will help you to complete this form, or fill it in on your behalf.
Please note, while the Duty Building Control Officer will endeavour to reply to enquiries within 48 hours, this cannot be guaranteed as heavy demand for the service can sometimes affect response time.
The Duty Building Control Officer will reply by email, unless you do not have access to an email address or the Duty Building Control Officer believes a phone conversation will be the most appropriate way to answer your enquiry.
If the Duty Building Control Officer believes the best way to respond to your enquiry is with a face to face meeting, he or she will contact you to arrange a suitable time.
