Property Addressing

Please note: Marlborough District Council has recently implemented Water Addressing for the Marlborough Sounds.

The Property Address Enquiry Form is for general addressing enquiries only (e.g. postal address issues and urban property enquiries).

If you have a new address, this needs activation through NZ Post. We are happy to update your postal address in our records. However, please be aware that although your address is currently active with NZ Post, their system indicates that it does not receive standard mail delivery.

To confirm the status of your address, you may use the following NZ Post tool:

If you would like to request mail delivery to your address, you can submit a suggestion directly to NZ Post via this link:

Please note that newly activated addresses may not appear in the Postcode Finder until approximately the 20th of next month.
