Tara Bay, Kenepuru Road – Road Closure
Roads
Construction closures are in place on Tara Bay Road as part of the Marlborough Roads Recovery Project until Friday 31 July.
The closures are required for drainage improvements inclusive of culvert replacement and concrete channel works, followed by road reinstatement.
The closure will be in place at the below days and times:
- Monday to Thursday, from 8am to 12pm and 12.30pm to 5pm
- Fridays, from 8am to 12pm and 12.30pm to 3.30pm
Works may occur outside of these closure times between 5pm and 7pm on weekdays and 8am and 5pm on Saturdays under stop/go traffic management with delays of up to 15 minutes.
No work will occur during the Matariki long weekend; works will finish at 12pm on Thursday 9 July and resume as scheduled at 8am on Monday 13 July.
Emergency services will always be accommodated.
All work is subject to weather and other unforeseen circumstances. In the event of unsuitable conditions, work will be rescheduled to the next suitable workday, and an Antenno sent.
