Market Street road closure - Stage 1 extension
From the evening of Sunday 23 August, the Stage 1 Market Street Revamp project road closure will extend to between Maxwell Road and Wynen Street.
The road closure is being extended to enable the construction of the Market Street and Arthur Street intersection concurrently with other Stage 1 works. This will accelerate the overall programme of Stage 1 to allow for Market Street between Arthur and Wynen streets to open in September.
The road closure will be in place 24/7.
Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the project and emergency services will always be accommodated.
The Market Street Revamp will revitalise Blenheim's town centre with a single coordinated construction programme.
