Queen Charlotte Drive – Momorangi Bay

From Tuesday 15 and Wednesday 16 of September, as part of the Marlborough Roads Recovery Project, construction closures will be on Queen Charlotte Drive – in Momorangi Bay, approximately 100m beyond the jetty when travelling towards Linkwater. Works are planned for retaining wall repairs, followed by road reinstatement.
A road closure is required for two days during these works and will be in placeTuesday 15 and Wednesday 16 September. Between the hours of 9am to 3pm with openings on the hour, every hour to clear waiting traffic.
Works will occur outside of these closure times under stop/go traffic management with delays of up to 15 minutes, with crews establishing on site from Monday 14 September.
Please note closures are subject to weather conditions which may affect the start and end date. If the closure timings should change, an Antenno will be sent.
Emergency services will always be accommodated.
