Road works shift up a gear in Marlborough

If you’re driving in Marlborough or across the top of South region expect to see lots of activity on the state highways this summer. NZTA has a busy programme rebuilding and resurfacing roads between now and March 2027. To be effective and durable, road renewals and re-sealing must be done during the warmer, drier months. With recovery and resilience work also underway, please check road conditions before you travel and allow extra time.
