Port Underwood Road closure

Closure #1 - approximately 200m beyond Pukatea / Whites Bay when travelling from Rārangi

As part of the Marlborough Roads Recovery Project, construction closures will be in place on Port Underwood Road at two locations between Pukatea/Whites Bay and Robin Hood Bay from mid-October until early-December.

The closures are required for the construction of a rail iron retaining walls and the excavation of road retreats followed by road reinstatement.

The closures will be in place from Tuesday 13 October until early-December on weekdays from 9am to 12pm and 12.30pm to 3pm.

Closure #2 - approximately 1km prior to Robin Hood Bay when travelling from Rārangi

Works will occur outside of these dates and times under stop/go traffic management with delays of up to 15 minutes.

All work is subject to weather and other unforeseen circumstances. In the event of unsuitable conditions, work will be rescheduled to the next suitable workday.

Emergency services will always be accommodated.

Any change to the closure times will be sent via Antenno.
