On Tuesday 20 and Wednesday 21 October as part of the Marlborough Roads Recovery Project, construction closures will be on Queen Charlotte Drive – approximately 1.5km from Linkwater when travelling towards Havelock.Works are planned for the excavation of a road retreat, followed by road reinstatement.
The closures will be in place Tuesday 20 and Wednesday 21. Between the hours of 9am to 3pm with openings on the hour, every hour to clear waiting traffic.
Road users are urged to be mindful that it can take time to clear traffic during the openings, as the road will be open to one lane at time.
Work will be undertaken outside of these days and times, under stop/go traffic management with up to 15-minute delays.
Please note closures are subject to weather conditions which may affect the start and end date. If the closure timings should change, an Antenno will be sent.
Emergency services will always be accommodated.
