In accordance with Section 44A of the RMA, the Council is required to remove any duplication or conflict between the rules of the PMEP and the provisions of any national environmental standard. The following alignment has occurred.
NES for Commercial Forestry
On 3 November 2023, the NES for Plantation Forestry became the NES for Commercial Forestry. At the same time amendments were made to the NESCF.
The outcome of the alignment exercise has been recorded.
