The Harbourmaster publishes local navigation warnings to provide harbour users with information about any local matters that may effect the safety of navigation in the region.
Any person, group or organisation may request to have a local navigation warning published by the Harbourmaster.
These warnings are also broadcast on local marine radio stations and published Marlborough Cruise Guide. Enabling notifications on the free Marlborough Cruise Guide App is a great way to keep up to date with local navigation warnings.
Please note: The Harbourmaster's local navigation warnings do not necessarily include Notices to Mariners as published by LINZ or Maritime New Zealand's Safety Bulletins or Guidance Notices.
