Diversion Repair works

The project is to reinstate and armour sections of the true left bank of the Wairau Diversion near Cloudy Bay that have been compromised by large floods in recent years.

Approximately 11000 tonne of rock has been used to line 600 meters on the true left bank of the diversion.
