This Combined Waters Strategic Case represents a first step towards us amalgamating MDC’s Water Supply, Storm Water, Wastewater, and River and Land Drainage Asset Management Plans. The Programme Business Cases for each remain separate in this cycle, with a view to merging them together in the next.
This combined approach is foundational to a sound risk management approach. It reduces the risk of surprises that usually cost more, and have greater negative effects than planned work does.
