WinePRO NZ puts latest in wine industry innovation on display
Marlborough Lines Stadium 2000 was transformed into a showcase of the latest in wine industry technology and innovation this week with the return of WinePRO NZ.
The three-day event took place from Tuesday to Thursday and offered a conference programme packed with thought leaders from industry and a trade exhibition aimed at providing insights into the latest in wine industry technology.
Wine industry members were invited to learn about export growth, automation, climate science and vineyard economics and explore the latest products, technologies and innovations designed to improve productivity.
Council Economic Development Portfolio Manager Dorien Vermaas said Wine Marlborough and Expertise Events designed the 2026 event around showcasing solutions for businesses navigating change and increasing cost-structures.
“WinePRO is about showing the latest innovation and technologies on offer to increase productivity,” she said.
"New Zealand’s winemakers, viticulturists and operations managers are already constantly innovating, implementing new technologies and improving processes, and WinePRO NZ brings suppliers, innovators and users together for three days of learning and collaboration."
