Dog registrations due by end of July to avoid penalties
The dog registration year runs from 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027 so now’s the time to register your dogs - all dogs over three months old must be registered. Registration forms have been sent to dog owners’ last known address. Payment is due by 31 July before penalties are incurred.
The table below provides information on how much it costs to register your dog. All of this information, and ways to pay, is outlined in the registration form which you should have received in the mail by now.

Please let Animal Control know if:
- Ownership of your dog changes
- Your dog leaves the district
- You have a change of address
- Your dog dies
