Marlborough District Council Arts and Heritage Partnership Grants
Who can apply?
Organisations wanting to apply for funding assistance must meet the following criteria:
- Be a not-for-profit organisation.
- Iwi groups.
- Provide services to the arts and heritage sectors in the community.
- Be able to supply annual accounts.
- Provide verification of charitable status (if applicable).
- Account for expenditure of funds specifically for grants received (this will affect eligibility for any future grants).
- There must be a monetary contribution from the applicant towards the cost of the activity applied for. This can be from own funds or grants from other sources.
- Regional/national organisations can apply on behalf of a Marlborough group but must provide Marlborough specific costs/budget and benefits.
The Arts, Culture and Heritage Sub-Committee has the discretion to decline an application which is of a similar nature to previous funding requests, or these requests may be deemed a lower priority. Applicants are encouraged to seek advice from the Arts, Culture and Heritage team if they have any queries.
