Greenwaste

The green waste facility is located on the same site as the Blenheim Transfer Station. Entrance is via George Conroy Drive and exit is via Wither Road.

Once over the weighbridge, follow the signage to the green waste area.

Grass should be delivered separate from green waste due to the potential presence of pesticides and herbicides. Composting does not break down these chemicals, so we need to ensure that the grass is kept separate and sent to landfill for disposal.

For clarity unsorted mixed loads of grass and green waste will be treated as grass, charged at the grass rate and sent to landfill for disposal.

If you have a split load of separated grass and green waste, you will have to weigh in twice to avoid paying a mixed load charge. Minimum weigh charges will also apply.
